The Nike Air Max 1 '87 Premium 'University of Oregon' PE is inspired by the diverse duck species of the Pacific Northwest. The upper combines perforated light brown leather overlays with a tan suede mudguard and leopard print panels. "Once A Duck" and "Always A Duck" are printed on the left and right heels, respectively. Rainbow detailing accents the collar. Nike and Ducks of a Feather branding are embroidered on the chocolate brown suede tongue label. A dark blue insole features a "DOAF" graphic that recreates the look of ripples on water. The white polyurethane midsole features a visible Air unit in the heel and is anchored by a two-tone rubber traction outsole. This shoe was produced in partnership with Division Street's Ducks of a Feather, with proceeds benefiting participating University of Oregon student-athletes.
